Jacques Coetzer from South Africa visited the Centre today.
Jacques is the placemaking artist for Aberdeenshire's Be Part of the Picture
and his project is to assist
with the new branding of Aberdeenshire in 2014 which is all about regional identity.
He is exploring places, meeting folk and gathering information about what Abereenshire means to them
and why the area is so special. He came to look at the Glover and Bill Gibb displays and was delighted
to find the story of John Ross which was a South African connection and very dear to his heart.
